Myanmar killings : Chenab Valley observe shutdown | KNO

To lodge their protest against persecution of innocent civilians killings in Myanmar Muslim community in various parts of Chenab Valley included Bhaderwah , Banihal , Bhalessa and Kishtwar on Friday observed a complete shutdown.The bandh call was given by respective Masjid Committees , Seerat Committees included Anjuman Islamia Bhaderwah . The protesters dispersed peacefully after registering their protest in Bhaderwah town . President Anjuman Islamia Pervaiz Ahmed Sheikh while speaking appealed Islamic countries and UNO to intervene and force Aung San Sui Kyi led Burma government to stop persecution of Rohingya Muslims.He also castigated Muslim countries for maintaining silence over the grave issue, though they hailed the efforts of Iran and Turkey.However strict security arrangements were made by the local administration in all parts of the Chenab valley to avoid any untoward incident .
